President Larry Dominick and the Board of Trustees have announced the distribution of Christmas gifts for 2024. The event will take place from November 18th to 21st, offering one gift per household for children aged between one month and 14 years old. Registration is required at the Community Center located at 2250 S. 49th Ave., with operating hours from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
To register, participants must present identification, birth certificates for each child, and two current utility bills (light, gas, or water only). All documents must match the same name and address, and recipients must be residents of Cicero.
A separate registration process is available for senior citizens wishing to receive a Christmas gift. Seniors can register at the Senior Center located at 5631 W. 35th St.
For more information about registering for children's gifts, individuals can call 708-656-3600 Ext.160. For senior citizens' registration inquiries, they can contact the Senior Center at 708-222-8690.
