Town President Larry Dominick and the Cicero Police Department have announced a strict policy to combat street sideshows, also known as street takeovers, in the town of Cicero. This decision comes after experiencing several random incidents over the past two years.

The authorities are adopting a zero-tolerance approach to these events. The measures include impounding vehicles and pursuing legal actions against those involved, which may result in citations or arrests.

"We will impound vehicles and take legal action against participants, including citations and/or arrests," stated officials from the Town of Cicero and the Cicero Police Department.

Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activities related to street sideshows. For emergencies, individuals should contact the Cicero Police Department’s Consolidated Dispatch Center by calling 911. For non-emergencies, they can call 708-652-2130.

Further details on this initiative can be found through informational flyers and presentations available online.
