Proviso Township Board met Sept. 3
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
1) CALL TO ORDER
The Board of Town Trustees of the Town of Proviso met at the Office of the Township Clerk, 4565 Harrison Street, Hillside, IL 60162 on Monday, September 3, 2024.
2) ROLL CALL
Supervisor Corrigan called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. on a roll call the following responded: Trustees Christopher, Chavez, Chase and Supervisor Corrigan.
Also present were Clerk Williams, Assessor Zawaski and Attorney Durkin.
Trustee Thomas was absent.
3) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Supervisor Corrigan led the board in the Pledge of Allegiance.
4) APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Trustee Christopher moved, seconded by Trustee Chavez, that the Board of Trustees approve the minutes of the Township Board Meeting held on August 21, 2024.

Ayes: Trustees Christopher, Chavez, Chase and Supervisor Corrigan.
Nays: None
Absent: Trustee Thomas

5) APPROVAL OF BILLS
Trustee Chase moved, seconded by Trustee Chavez, that the Board of Trustees approve payment of the bills submitted for August 15, 2024 – August 31, 2024

6) ATTORNEY’ REPORT
Approval for compensation for next term has to be 90 days in advance Resolution for details.

8) OLD BUSINESS
A. Supervisor’s Report – Warrants for July 2024. Handyman report for August 2024 and 103rd Illinois General Assembly given to Trustees for review. Received letter from resident thanking Township for Senior Day.
B. Clerk’s Report – Clerk Williams read report to Trustees
C. Trustee’s Report – None
D. Elected Officials Report – None
E. Staff Report – None
9) NEW BUSINESS
A. Consideration to approve specific personnel matters requiring board action.
None
B. Trustee Chavez moved, seconded by Trustee Christopher, that the Board authorize Setting Compensation for the Township Officers of the Township of Proviso.
