Brookfield residents urged to join National Clean Up Day

The Brookfield Beautification Commission is urging residents to participate in National Clean Up Day on Saturday, Sept. 21. The initiative, tagged #BeautifyBrookfield, aims to encourage community members to clean up their front or back yards, or any part of their block.

"Maybe it's your front or back yard, or maybe your block. Wherever you choose is great!" the commission stated. Participants are encouraged to share photos of their efforts on social media using the hashtag #BeautifyBrookfield.

For larger tasks that may be beyond individual capacity, residents are advised to notify the Village through SeeClickFix.

"Let’s keep Brookfield beautiful!" urged the commission.
