Commuter Lot 8 Green Parking Lot construction continued last week. The General Contractor (MYS) completed 80% of the curb and gutter installation.
This week, the contractor will finish building and pouring the rest of the curb and gutter, install a waterproof layer, remove an underground storage tank, and complete the base layer of gravel for the road.
Residents are reminded to use the west staircase to access the Metra platform. All other staircases are within the construction work zone and are closed until the project is completed.
The Village of Riverside acknowledges the disruption and inconvenience caused by this construction project.
