The Village of River Forest has expressed its sympathies for the families of the four victims in Monday's tragic shooting on the CTA Blue Line. The village extended gratitude to all CTA employees and public safety professionals who responded to the scene, including its own patrol officers.
"The Village is grateful that a suspect has already been arrested and charged in this case," stated a spokesperson. "The incident appears to be isolated with no further threat to the community."
