In honor of the Village of Riverside's 150th anniversary of incorporation, residents are invited to participate in the Sesquicentennial Time Capsule project. For $150, individuals can purchase a Time Caplet (measuring approximately 10" x 3" x 3") which will be sealed inside a stainless-steel Heritage Time Capsule in December 2025.
Participants can include documents, personal items, and memorabilia that tell their story or capture the spirit of the community. The airtight and watertight Time Capsule is designed to be opened in 75 years, ensuring that future generations understand the diverse experiences of life in Riverside today.
Residents interested in this special project are encouraged to fill out a form linked below. Those who express definite interest will receive further participation details in January 2025. Based on capacity, those expressing possible interest will be contacted in the order responses are received.
