The National Weather Service of Chicago has issued a forecast predicting potentially dangerous weather for this evening, between approximately 8 - 11 pm. A severe line of thunderstorms is expected to move through the area, bringing destructive winds and possible tornadoes. Residents are advised to have multiple ways to receive weather warnings and to be prepared.
In the event of power outages, residents are urged to report them directly to ComEd.
Reports can be made by calling 1-800-EDISON1, visiting ComEd.com, using the ComEd mobile app, or texting "Add outage" to COMED (26633). Information about outages in your area will be provided upon sending this text. To report an outage via text, send "OUT" to the same number.
