The Illinois Secretary of State's mobile Driver Services unit is scheduled to make an appearance at the Quincy Community Center on June 26, 2024. The event, which will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is set to take place at 43 E. Quincy Street. Riverside Village President Doug Pollock and Illinois State Senator Mike Porfirio have joined forces to host this community event.

Representatives from the Secretary of State's office will be present to assist with various services. These include renewing or correcting driver's licenses, converting standard driver’s licenses into REAL ID driver’s licenses, issuing first-time or renewed Standard or REAL state IDs, and selling license plate stickers. They will also offer free state IDs for seniors aged 65 or older.

In addition to these services, attendees can register as organ or tissue donors and register to vote while applying for a driver’s license or identification card.

Those interested in attending can register online at https://ow.ly/Mfy450RCgqZ or by contacting Ethan Sowl at esowl@riverside.il.us. For any queries, Ethan Sowl can be reached at (708)447-2700 or via email at esowl@riverside.il.us.
