Discussion of Case 24-05 Request for a Special Use Permit for Low Impact Manufacturing of Craft Beer and for a Variance from §62-290 Required Parking Spaces for 9509 Ogden Avenue
Village Planner Kate Portillo provides a summary of the case by including that there is no existing off-street parking for the address. The proposed use includes the manufacturing of craft beer Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Delivery trucks would be on-site twice a month and there is amaximum of two employees on-site in the future. The parking requirements are listed with two total parking spots being required. How the special use aligns with the 2017 Station Area District zoning, the 2018 Comprehensive Plan, and the 2022 Energize Ogden Plan. The proposed improvements to the property are discussed. The Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously recommended the special use so long as facade improvements are completed prior to issuance of a business license. The parking variance was also unanimously recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
