Proviso Township Board met Oct. 2.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
1) CALL TO ORDER
The Board of Town Trustees of the Town of Proviso met at the Office of the Township Clerk, 4565 Harrison Street, Hillside, IL 60162 on Monday, October 2, 2023.
2) ROLL CALL
Supervisor Corrigan called the meeting to order at 5:34 p.m., and on a roll call the following responded: Trustees Thomas, Christopher, Chavez, Supervisor Corrigan. Also present were Clerk Williams, Attorney Durkin, and Assessor Zawaski. Trustee Herrell attended via audio conference with no objections.
3) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Supervisor Corrigan led the board in the Pledge of Allegiance.
4) APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Trustee Thomas moved, seconded by Trustee Herrell, that the Board of Trustees approve the minutes of the Township Board Meeting held on September 20, 2023.

Ayes: Trustees Thomas, Christopher, Chavez, Herrell, and Supervisor Corrigan.

Absent: None

5) APPROVAL OF BILLS
Trustee Christopher moved, seconded by Trustee Chavez, that the Board of Trustees approve payment of the bills submitted for September 16, 2023 – September 30, 2023

A. Supervisor’s Report – No warrants. The governor’s report is attached. The Handyman report is attached.

D. Elected Officials Report – Assessor Zawaski said the appeals are open from October 1 through October 30. Values went up 40-50%

Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Thomas, that the Board of Trustees adjourn the meeting at 5:43 p.m.
