TOWNSHIP SPECIAL BOARD MEETING
1. CALL TO ORDER
The Board of Township Trustees of the Township of Proviso met at the Office of the Township Clerk, 4565 Harrison Street, Hillside, IL 60162 on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
2. ROLL CALL
Supervisor Corrigan called the meeting to order at 5:36 p.m. on a roll call; the following responded present: Trustees Thomas, Christopher, Herrell, and Supervisor Corrigan. Also present were Attorney Michael K. Durkin, Clerk Williams, and Jorge Velazquez, Director of Senior Services. Trustee Chavez attended via audio conference with no opposition.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Supervisor Corrigan led the board in the Pledge of Allegiance.
4. CLOSED SESSION
Supervisor Corrigan moved, seconded by Trustee Christopher that the Board of Trustees recess to closed session to discuss and consider the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees, pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1).

RECONVENE TO PUBLIC SESSION
Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Thomas that the Board reconvene the meeting to public session at 5:56 pm. On a roll call, the following responded present:
Trustees Thomas, Christopher, Chavez, Herrell, Supervisor Corrigan.
5. NEW BUSINESS
A. Supervisor Corrigan moved, seconded by Trustee Herrell that the Board of Trustees Authorize the termination of Richella Goeloe Jackson that was the subject of the closed session held on this same date.
