Proviso Township Board met June 21.

1. CALL TO ORDER
The Board of Township Trustees of the Township of Proviso met at the Office of the Township Clerk, 4565 Harrison Street, Hillside, IL 60162 on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.
2. ROLL CALL
Supervisor Corrigan called the meeting to order at 5:42 p.m. and on a roll call The following responded present: Trustees Thomas, Christopher, Herrell, Supervisor Corrigan. Also present were Clerk Williams, and Attorney Durkin.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Supervisor Corrigan led the board in the Pledge of Allegiance.
4. RECESS FOR PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING BUDGET AND APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE
Trustee Thomas moved, seconded by Trustee Herrell that the Board of Trustees recess for a public hearing regarding the budget and appropriation ordinance.

RECONVENE TO PUBLIC SESSION
Trustee Thomas moved, seconded by Trustee Herrell that the Board reconvene the meeting to public session at 5:43 pm. On a roll call, the following responded present: Trustees Thomas, Christopher, Herrell, Supervisor Corrigan.
5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Christopher that the Board of Trustees approve the minutes to the Township Board Meeting held on June 6, 2023. Roll Call Vote #2

6. APPROVAL OF BILLS
Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Thomas that the Board of Trustees approve payment of the bills submitted for June 1, 2023 – June 15, 2023. Roll Call Vote #3

7. ATTORNEY’S REPORT

8. CLOSED SESSION
Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Christopher that the Board of Trustees recess to closed session to discuss issues in Transportation; a couple resignations. Roll Call Vote #4

Supervisor Corrigan moved, seconded by Trustee Christopher that the Board reconvene The meeting to public session at 5:58 pm. On a roll call, the following responded present: Trustees Thomas, Christopher, Herrell and Supervisor Corrigan.

D. Elected Officials Report – The tax bills will be available in November; assessment appeal in August

A. Consideration to approve specific personnel matters requiring board action.
B. Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Christopher that the Board of Trustees Approve an Ordinance Adopting the Budget and Appropriation Ordinance of the Township of Proviso, for the fiscal year beginning April 1, 2022, and ending March 31, 2023.
