Coxon Named as Program's First All-American
Senior Regan Coxon has been named as the Dominican University women's soccer team's first All-American in program history. She was selected as a third-team All American.
Coxon comes off a season in which she was named as an All-Conference, All-Region, and now All-American selection. She finished the season with 9 goals, 6 assists, and over 1,200 minutes played. Coxon scored at least one goal in each of the final four matches for the Stars. She did all of this while being the main focus of the opposing defense throughout the season.
The senior forward finishes her four-year career as a four-time All-Conference selection, a three-time All-Region Selection, and now an All-American. Throughout her career she scored 66 goals, had 33 assists, and logged over 5,000 minutes.
"We are so excited for Regan to be named the first All-American in our women's soccer program history," head coach Carlos Carrillo said. "We are very proud of her and what she has been able to accomplish in her four-year career."
Coxon led the Stars to a 13-4-2 overall record this season, including a regular season NACC title. Coxon was apart of a conference title team all four years of her career and the Stars overall record was 58-10-4 while she was a part of the program.
