Proviso Township Board of Trustees met May 2.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

1) CALL TO ORDER

The Board of Town Trustees of the Town of Proviso met at the Office of the Township Clerk, 4565 Harrison Street, Hillside, IL 60162.

2) ROLL CALL

Supervisor Corrigan called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m. and on a roll call the following responded present: Trustees Christopher, Chavez, Herrell, Supervisor Corrigan, Clerk Williams, Assessor Zawaski, and Attorney Durkin. Trustee Thomas attended the meeting via audio conference.

3) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

Supervisor Corrigan led the board in the Pledge of Allegiance.

4) APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Trustee Chavez moved, seconded by Trustee Christopher that the Board of Trustees approve the minutes of the Township Board Meeting held on April 20, 2022. Roll Call Vote #1

Ayes: Trustees Thomas, Christopher, Chavez, Herrell, Supervisor Corrigan

Nays: None

Absent: None

Motion carried

5) APPROVAL OF BILLS

Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Supervisor Corrigan that the Board of Trustees approve payment of the bills submitted for April 16, 2022 – April 30, 2022 Roll Call Vote #2

Ayes: Trustees Thomas, Christopher, Chavez, Herrell, Supervisor Corrigan

Nays: None

Absent: None

6) ATTORNEY’ REPORT

None

8) OLD BUSINESS

A. Supervisor’s Report – Warrants approved.

Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Christopher that the Board of Trustees approve payment of the G.A. Warrants from March 2022

A. Consideration to approve specific personnel matters requiring board action.

B. Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Thomas that the Board of Trustees Motion to Approve and Authorize the Township Clerk to Publish the Tentative Budget and Appropriation Ordinance
