Dominican University Athletics began a massive, facelift project in May 2022 on the Igini Sports Forum, of which will include brand-new bleacher systems and basketball court design.
The project is slated for an August 2022 completion in conjunction with the need for the use of the facility for the Fall seasons. This is the first project of this magnitude to occur on the Igini Sports Forum, which was built in 1987 and named in 1992 after alum Jane Stromsen Igini '49. It serves as the official competition space for the men's and women's basketball and men's and women's volleyball programs.
