City of Northlake City Council met April 4.

Here are the minutes provided by the council:

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

ROLL CALL:

PRESENT: Alderman Straube

Alderman Feldmann

Alderman Johnson

Alderman Gonzalez

Alderman Grochowski

Alderman Patti

ABSENT: Alderman Contreras

Alderman Garcia

OTHERS PRESENT: Ken Beres, Chief Of Police

Mark Rail, Public Works

Mark Sterk, City Attorney

Mayor Sherwin presented the minutes of the city council meeting held on March 21, 2022. Alderman Patti made a motion to accept the minutes of the city council meeting held on March 21, 2022; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Mayor Sherwin asked if there were any additions or corrections. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

MOTION TO ACCEPT THE MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON MARCH 21, 2022 CARRIED

Alderman Patti made a motion to accept the Warrants and Vouchers; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

ROLL CALL: Aldermen Straube, Feldmann, Johnson, Gonzalez, Grochowski And Patti

ABSENT: Alderman Contreras

NAYS: None

Motion To Accept The Warrants And Vouchers Carried

Alderman Straube reminded everyone there will be a senior luncheon on Monday April 11th at 12:00 noon. Alderman Feldmann stated the registered members of the dog park were very pleased with the new no-fee requirement.

Alderman Straube made a motion to approve Ordinance O-06-2022; An Ordinance Rezoning and Granting a Variance for the Property Commonly Known as 78 West North Avenue, Northlake, Cook County, Illinois; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

ABSENT: Alderman Contreras

NAYS: NONE

MOTION TO APPROVE ORDINANCE O-06-2022; AN ORDINANCE REZONING AND GRANTING A VARIANCE FOR THE PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 78 WEST NORTH AVENUE, NORTHLAKE, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS CARRIED

There being no further business, Alderman Straube made a motion to adjourn; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor.
