I. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

II. CALL TO ORDER: President Pedersen called to order the Board of Trustees of the Village of Franklin Park in regular session at 7:00 p.m.

III. ROLL CALL; ESTABLISHMENT OF QUORUM

Village Clerk April J. Arellano called the roll:

Present at Board Meeting: Mayor Barrett F. Pedersen, Village Clerk April J. Arellano, Trustees: Ms. Avitia, Ms. Special Mr. Hagerstrom, Mr. Ybarra, Mr. Ruhl, Joe Montana (Village Attorney); Dan Corcoran (I.T. Director), Frank Grieashamer (Treasurer), Mike Witz, (Director of Police)', John P. Schneider (Director of Community Development and Zoning), Thomas McCabe (Village Engineer), Lisa Anthony (Health and Human Resources Director)

The Village Clerk declared a quorum was present

V. MAYOR'S REMARKS IN MEMORY OF JOE "TINY” LAURO

Last Thursday, the village lost our Public Works Director, Joe “Tiny" Lauro. Tiny was so much more than as Public Works director, he was a friend and a friend to everyone in the Village. He served Franklin Park for over 42 years. Tiny took tremendous pride in his work, was dedicated and responsible and did everything with kindness and respect. Rest in Peace Joe “Tiny" Lauro

2. Mr. Hagerstrom Announced Franklin Park Fest Will Be Thursday, June 9th Through 12h, More Details Will Follow, On Tonight's Consent Agenda Is The Contract For The Carnival

B. WATER AND SEWER/FLEET MAINTENANCE COMMITTEE (Ms. Avitia, Chair)

1. In Lieu Of Her Report, Ms. Avitia Stated The Following: “Village Mourns The Passing Of Joe “Tiny” Lauro. He Was The Utilities Commissioner For Franklin Park But Most Importantly He Was A Husband And A Father, A Friend And Outstanding Human Being. He Cared For His Family And The Well Being Of The Residents”

Ms. Aviti Extended Her Condolences To His Wife, Kathy And His Two Children, Joey And Angela And The Rest Of His Family And Colleagues

1. In Lieu Of Her Report, Ms. Special Stated That Tiny Would Always Go Out Of His Way To Help Anyone In Need With A Happy Heart. Ms. Special Stated That He Was A Genuine Soul, He Will Be Deeply Missed

F. Human Resources, Sustainable Practices And Senior Services Committee (Mr. Hagerstrom, Chair)

1. Mr. Hagerstrom Stated That Tiny Will Be Missed Dearly 2. Mr. Hagerstrom Announced That The First Blood Drive Of The Year Will Be Held On Friday, March 4 From 3pm To 7pm In The Police Station Community Room

Motion made by Mr. Ybarra, seconded by Mr. Hagerstrom to go into Executive Session at 7:33 p.m. for “Salary Schedules for One or More Classes of Employees 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(2)"
