Dominican University women's soccer's Regan Coxon has been named a Scholar All-American by the United Soccer Coaches.

She becomes the third Scholar All-American in program history, joining Josseline Williams and Kelly Iovino. Coxon earned a litany of awards following her junior season as she was named to the All-Conference, All-Region and Scholar All-Region Teams in recognition of her outstanding performance both in the classroom and on the pitch.

On the field, the Ada, Mich. native and Biology major continued to show her prowess on the attacking end in her junior season, leading Dominican with 18 goals and eight assists in the regular season. She scored in 15-of-24 matches for the Stars, recording hat-tricks in wins over Wheaton and Edgewood and a four-goal performance at Wisconsin Lutheran.

Coxon has played in 52 career matches for DU and has totaled 57 goals and 25 assists, amassing 140 career points. As a team, DU had its best season in program history in 2021 with Coxon as the primary scoring option, winning a share of the NACC Regular Season Championship, the NACC Postseason Championship and winning its first-ever NCAA Tournament match.
