CITY OF NORTHLAKE: Responsible Pet Ownership

Doghug

City of Northlake issued the following announcement on Apr. 15.

Pet owners are reminded of the following City ordinances regarding responsible pet ownership:

        Dogs must be properly restrained at all times. All pets should be on a leash or kept on

         private property.

       City Ordinance requires pet owners to clean up after their pets.  This applies to pets being

        walked on public sidewalks and parkways, in parks or elsewhere in the City.

        It is unlawful to allow a pet to trespass on private or public property anywhere in the City.

        Pet owners who violate these regulations are subject to fines.

Also note that Centerpoint Preserve is not an area to let dogs run loose.

Your cooperation helps to keep our community a pleasant one for residents with and without pets.  Thank you.
