A slew of economic proposals meant to spur growth was OK'd by the Cook County Commissioners recently.
The four tax incentives proposals from Bureau of Economic Development President Toni Preckwinkle would benefit specific businesses in Cook County.
"Our tax incentive tools are used to either keep or expand businesses in Cook County," Preckwinkle said in a Cook County press release.
The tax incentives would help businesses in Bedford Park, Blue Island, Markham and South Holland, the release said.
"The companies receiving these incentives, designated for either industrial or commercial use, have demonstrated their commitment to helping us grow vital communities," Preckwinkle said.
Four applicants included in the proposals are R&W Machine in Bedford; Lini Partners VI LP in Blue Island; Arihantanam 2, LLC, in Markham; and Keeana Barber/Power House Holding LLC in South Holland.
