The School of Social Work and Illinois Extension in Cook County Invites Families To Take Part of Racial Healing and Emotional Learning Seminars
Parents/Guardians are invited to register for tomorrow’s seminar titled Bold Conversations: Racial Healing with Social & Emotional Learning.
Bold Conversations is a social and emotional learning seminar; designed to bring parents together, in a relaxed atmosphere, to have a respectful and honest exchange of ideas on how we can help our children address the challenges they may face.
Participants will engage in conversations connected to recent national and local events and cover topics related to:
• Racial Constructs and Identity
• Social and Emotional Learning
• Microaggressions and Implicit Bias
