Marcus & Millichap close sale of Super Regional Two-Tenant Center in Schaumburg

Super Regional Two-Tenant Center's sale has been closed by Marcus & Millichap for $11 million dollars.The property, which was a 130,105 square foot retail center in Schaumburg, Illinois, was sold for $11 million, with Marcus & Millichap closing the sale, Connect Chicago Commercial Real Estate News reported. 

Senior Vice President's Sean Sharko and Austin Weisenbeck, of Marcus & Millichap's Chicago - Oak Brook office, were selling the property on behalf of the seller. Marcus & Millichap Vice President Adrian Mendoza also marketed the property with the Chicago Oak Brook office senior vice presidents, Connect Chicago Commercial Real Estate News reported. 

The seller, which was a trust, sold by Super Regional Two-Tenant Center to a limited liability company, which secured the property through and was represented by Mendoza, Weisenbeck and Sharko of Marcus & Millichap, Connect Chicago reported.

The property is located in Schaumburg at 1317-1321 E. Golf Rd., according to Connect Chicago.  

"The Sharko|Weisenbeck team procured a Chicago-based 1031 exchange buyer and navigated through a complex nine-month escrow process," Connect Chicago Commercial Real Estate News reported. 

While marketing Super Regional Two-Tenant Center, the Marcus & Millichap Chicago Oak Brook office team struggled with several obstacles, but successfully overcame them to sell the property. Some issues the team were presented with included tenant shutdown, Marcus & Millichap told Connect Chicago. 

"The property is located in the epicenter of Illinois’ largest center for economic development outside of Chicago, the company says," Connect Chicago Commercial Real Estate News reported.
