Oak Park-River Forest Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.
Come join your fellow Chamber members for our next Takeout Stakeout, this time at Citrine in Oak Park! In this event, we convene at a designated restaurant to pick up our takeout lunch choices, and get to see each other for a bit while we're at it in a socially-distanced meetup. Like our Tuesday Tasting lunch series from which this springs, lunch is a flat $15 including tax and tip.
This week we visit Citrine, one of the Chamber's newest members but already known as an Oak Park destination for upscale Mediterranean cuisine. You'll have your choice of three tasty entrees:
MARGHERITA PIZZA
Tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil
HARVEST SALAD (vegetarian, gluten-free)
Fall Vegetables, Lacinato Kale, Maytag Blue Cheese, Apple Cider Vinaigrette
STEAK SANDWICH
Grilled beef tenderloin, black pepper onion jam, garlic aioli, arugula & brioche bun
