Q2 2020 Recap: Parolees in Cook County convicted of crimes involving conspiracy or aiding and abetting

There was an offender convicted of a crime involving conspiracy or aiding and abetting released on parole in Cook County during the second quarter of 2020, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the West Cook News.

The data shows that the released offender was a man. He was convicted in 2020 when he was 27 years old. He is now 27.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
