City of Countryside issued the following announcement on Oct. 28.
Compost your pumpkin at LaGrange Park – Department of Public Works, located at 937 Barnsdale Road on Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 10 am – NOON.
By composting, the nutrients and water in our pumpkins are returned to the soil where they will nourish new plant life.
