The leadership of AMITA Health Medical Group is proud to announce that Dr. Hakeem Jibawi has joined the AMITA Health Medical Group Heart & Vascular Kankakee.

Left untreated, arrhythmia may cause damage to the heart, brain and other organs, impairing quality of life, Dr. Jibawi said.
“In my practice, I keep my patients well-informed of their health and treatment options,” he said. “I treat them the same way I would my own family.”
Dr. Jibawi received his medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University, Downers Grove, Ill. and completed his residency at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields and electrophysiology fellowship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Chicago. In his new role, he is affiliated with AMITA Health St. Mary’s Hospital Kankakee and AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center Joliet.
