Cost of college went up for all students at Dominican University

Tuition and fees rose 2.3 percent for 2018-19 at Dominican University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $33,434 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $904 more than the $32,530 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 441 students received grants or scholarships totaling $10.1 million and 318 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.8 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,990), 1,963 students used grants or scholarships totaling $40.4 million, and 1,521 students took out $10.4 million in federal student loans.
