Cost of college went up for all students at Concordia University-Chicago

Tuition and fees rose 1.6 percent for 2018-19 at Concordia University-Chicago, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $32,078 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $490 more than the $31,588 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 327 students received grants or scholarships totaling $7.6 million and 265 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.6 million.

Including all undergraduates (6,005), 1,289 students used grants or scholarships totaling $24.5 million, and 1,008 students took out $7 million in federal student loans.
