Township of Proviso Board of Township Trustees met July 15.

1. CALL TO ORDER
The Board of Township Trustees of the Township of Proviso met at the Office of the Township Clerk, 4565 Harrison Street, Hillside, IL 60162 on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.
2. ROLL CALL
Supervisor Corrigan called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m. and on a roll call
The following responded present by means of audio conference: Trustee Christopher.
Also, physically present were Trustees Chavez, Herrell, Thomas, Supervisor Corrigan, Clerk Williams, and Attorney Durkin.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Supervisor Corrigan led the board in the Pledge of Allegiance.
4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Trustee Thomas moved, seconded by Trustee Chavez that the Board of Trustees approve the minutes to the Township Board Meeting held on July 6, 2020.

5. APPROVAL OF BILLS
Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Christopher that the Board of Trustees approve payment of the bills submitted for July 1, 2020 – July 15, 2020.

6. ATTORNEY’S REPORT
Open Meeting Act resolution to destroy closed session meeting recordings after 18 months. Semi-annual review of open meetings act.

8. OLD BUSINESS
A. Supervisor’s Report – No warrants. Handyman report presented. Letter of intent from Cook County to underwrite roads in Westdale Gardens. The County will reimburse the Township for cost of repairs and renovation. Hancock Engineering is involved in the plans.
B. Clerk’s Report – None
C. Trustee’s Report – None
D. Elected Officials Report – Appeals are starting August 16th
E. Staff Report – None
9. NEW BUSINESS
A. Consideration to approve specific personnel matters requiring board action.
B. Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Thomas that the Board of Trustees Authorize Destruction of Audio Recordings of Certain Closed Session Meetings of the Township of Proviso.
