Analysis: La Grange pays $6.32 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Pleasantview FPD

Taxpayers contributed 86.3 percent of the $2,641,219 the Pleasantview FPD brought in 2018, or $6.32 for every $1 from pension members, according to a West Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, La Grange contributed $2,280,435 to the fund, which saw a $122,300 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $360,785, or 13.7 percent, in 2018.
