AMITA ADVENTIST LA GRANGE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL: AMITA Health Names New Chief Strategy Officer

AMITA Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on May 29.

Elyse Forkosh Cutler will be joining AMITA Health as chief strategy officer, effective June 2.

Elyse Forkosh Cutler “We are excited to have Elyse join AMITA Health,” said Keith Parrott, president and CEO, AMITA Health. “She brings valuable experience in health care strategy and business development, along with extensive knowledge of metropolitan Chicago’s healthcare market.” In this role, she will be responsible for the ongoing development of AMITA Health’s strategy, driving new business development initiatives, strategic partnerships and other growth opportunities.

Since 2012, Forkosh Cutler has served as president and founder of Sage Health Strategy, a Chicago-based health strategy firm that provides strategic advisory services to health care organizations focused on growth.

Prior to that, she served as Advocate Health Care’s vice president of strategic planning and network development. During her 10 years at Advocate, she oversaw growth planning, capital planning and strategic planning across the system. Her career at Advocate started in government affairs, where she led the system’s advocacy agenda.

She holds master’s degrees in business administration and public policy from the University of Chicago and received her bachelor’s degree in economics from Kenyon College. Forkosh Cutler serves on the boards of the Healthy Communities Foundation, the FMH Foundation and Shalom Memorial Park.
