Village of Franklin Park Senior Commission met Oct. 3.

Lisa Anthony called the October 3, 2019 Senior Commission meeting to order at 1:00 p.m.
Members present: Kitty Greenwood, Bernice Brown and Ruth Schwab
The minutes of the September 5, 2019 meeting were reviewed by the members. Motion by Kitty Greenwood, seconded by Bernice Brown to accept the minutes as read. Motion carried and the minutes were accepted.
St. Vincent DePaul Report: No report
American Legion Report: Kitty reported that there were quite a few people at the pancake breakfast in September and the Women’s Auxiliary had a successful bake sale.
Relay for Life report by Kitty Greenwood & Bernie Brown: Nothing to report this month.
Discussed the commemorative pavers by the caboose in which residents can purchase and have them engraved. Recommended to advertise this in an upcoming newsletter.
Lisa reminded the members about the upcoming Health Fair on October 18th at North Park from 9am until 1pm and the increase in the number of vendors that will be present. Also, the Eddie Biondo Fall Fest Parade will be on Sunday, October 6th.
The Senior Commission meeting adjourned at 2:00 p.m.
