City of Northlake City Council met Monday, Oct. 21.

The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Mayor Sherwin asked everyone to stand for the pledge of allegiance.
Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.
ROLL CALL:

Mayor Sherwin presented the minutes of the regular meeting held on October 7, 2019. Alderman Patti made a motion to accept the minutes of the regular meeting held on October 7, 2019; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Mayor Sherwin asked if there were any additions or corrections. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.
MOTION TO ACCEPT THE MINUTES OF THE OCTOBER 7, 2019 CITY COUNCIL MEETING CARRIED
Tiffany Ingram from ComEd made a presentation to the City for the ComEd Energy Efficiency Program. She presented a plaque to the Mayor illustrating LED Streetlights Project Savings and Carbon Equivalents since the City of Northlake switched their streetlight bulbs in 2018.
Alderman Patti made a motion to pay the warrants and vouchers if and when the funds become available; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

MOTION TO PAY THE WARRANTS AND VOUCHERS CARRIED
Mayor Sherwin reminded everyone that the dedication of the new Fitness Park and Joanne Floistad Music Park is tomorrow, October 22nd; that the annual Senior Luncheon is this Thursday, October 24th; and that Boofest is on October 31st. It was agreed that the annual City Council budget meeting would be held on November 20, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.
Alderman Patti made a motion to approve Resolution R-17-2019; A Resolution to Adopt the Update of the Cook County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

Alderman Patti made a motion to approve Resolution R-18-2019; A Resolution Approving a Change in the Terms Agreement Between the City of Northlake and First American Bank; seconded by Alderman Gonzalez. Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

Alderman Patti made a motion to approve Resolution R-19-2019; A Resolution Appointing Certain Chief Executives, Administrators and Members of the City Council to the Position of Director and Alternate Director of the West Cook County Solid Waste Agency; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin call for the roll.

A resident stepped forward and requested clarification on some items talked about at the last City Council meeting as to the flooding issues.
There being no further business, Alderman Straube made a motion to adjourn; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor.
