1. CALL TO ORDER
The Board of Township Trustees of the Township of Proviso met at the Office of the Township Clerk, 4565 Harrison Street, Hillside, IL 60162 on Wednesday, July 17, 2019.
2. ROLL CALL
Supervisor Corrigan called the meeting to order at 5:38 p.m. and on a roll call
The following responded present: Trustees Thomas, Christopher, Chavez, Herrell and Supervisor Corrigan. Also present were Clerk Williams, Assessor Zawaski, and Attorney Durkin.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Supervisor Corrigan led the board in the Pledge of Allegiance.
4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Christopher that the Board of Trustees approve the minutes to the Township Board Meeting held on July 8, 2019.

Trustee Christopher moved, seconded by Trustee Chavez that the Board of Trustees approve the minutes to the Closed Session held on July 8, 2019.

5. APPROVAL OF BILLS
Trustee Chavez moved, seconded by Trustee Christopher that the Board of Trustees approve payment of the bills submitted for July 1, 2019 – July 15, 2019.

6. ATTORNEY’S REPORT
Census commission was drafted but we need to know how many members and positions will be created. Paperwork will be completed when the contract is received from the Census Committee member, Booker Washington.

8. OLD BUSINESS
A. Supervisor’s Report – No warrants. Transportation provided their monthly report.
Lots of employees attended the new building tour today at 4pm.

D. Elected Officials Report – Assessor Zawaski provided dates for appeal outreach: PMSA 7/17/19 @ 6:30 pm; Forest Park 7/24/19 at 6:30 pm; Berkeley 7/30/19 at 6:30pm; Westchester 8/1/19 @ 6:30 pm.
E. Staff Report – None
9. NEW BUSINESS
A. Consideration to approve specific personnel matters requiring board action.
B. Trustee Herrell moved, seconded by Trustee Chavez that the Board of Trustees Approve A Resolution Authorizing Supervisor Corrigan to Hire A Full-time Employee for the Proviso Township Transportation Department.
