I. CALL TO ORDER

The Regular Board Meeting of Monday, June 3rd, 2019 was called to order by Mayor Thompson at 7:35 p.m., in the Council Chambers at 2350 South 25th Avenue, Broadview, IL 60155.

ROLL CALL

Upon roll call by Kevin McGrier, Village Clerk, the following answered Present: Trustee(s) V. Horne J. Tierney, A. Senior, Mayor Thompson, Absent: J. Miller, S. Jones, J. Abraham (Abraham arrived at 7:46pm)

There being a quorum the meeting was called to order.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO FLAG

Everyone remained standing and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.

MOMENT OF SILENCE

Everyone joined in a moment of silence.

Clerk mentioned the re-scheduling of the Community Shred Day on June 15th 9am – 1pm Proud to participate in the Annual Torch run for Special Olympics

X. VILLAGE PRESIDENT Katrina Thompson

• Mayor Thompson recognized in the audience Trustee Booker from Maywood

• Mayor mentioned that our primary communication is on the website www.broadview-il.gov

• Mayor mentioned that we are gathering emails from residents to further better our communication.

• Mayor mentioned that we visit the Senior club regularly to announce communications

• Mayor mentioned transparency in Police activities that happen in Broadview.

• Mayor spoke on human trafficking issue that is happening around the country.

• Mayor mentioned Hillside veteran recognition event

• Mayor addressed public comments from earlier in the meeting.
