4.A Honoring of Patrol Officers Neil Bojkovski and Matthew Sosnowski and Record

Clerk Joe Mullane.

5) Public Comments and Questions

Tom Sullivan came up to speak up about a comment from comment regarding special events from a former meeting.

Mr. Garcia of 3008 Becket came up regarding chickens and asked if we would be coming to a conclusion regarding the ordinance change for poultry.

Mike Tilman came up with Don Nielsen from Norcomm to announce a proposed contract for the villages dispatch services.

Betty Rous came up to request the change of the proposed poultry ordinance.

Douglas Freeman lives on Concord and requested information regarding the retention pond in the area and if further work will be done to the ponds.

Krista Brazel came up to state that between 8am and 1pm on Saturday for the clothes drive at the community Church will be held.

6) Consent Agenda

6.A Approval of the Record of Bills ending Tuesday May 28, 2019 in the amount not to exceed $765,249.42.

6.B Westchester ordinance waiving competitive bidding and authorizing the acceptance of a proposal from Computer Information Systems Inc. for License Renewal and Maintenance of Dispatch Service Software.

6.C Approval of the Minutes of the Board Meeting of the Village President and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Westchester Tuesday May 14, 2019

7.B A Resolution Waiving Competitive Bidding and Authorizing the Acceptance of an Agreement with Ravenswood Special Events Inc. and the Village of Westchester.

Trustee Kuratko advised that we did attempt to locate other vendors in addition to Ravenswood. President Gattuso wanted to know what the vendor charges were.

Trustee Steker stated he would like to utilize Hotel Motel Fund revenues for a staff member for website development and other public relations functions.

8) Manager’s Report

Acting Village Manger Greg Hribal advised that the public works department was reviewing the former Westchester Blvd gardens to determine if they would be able to complete the work in- house by planting sod in the former gardens and believe the cost would be between $2000 and $3000 in materials.

He advised that digital copies along with booklets were passed out to the board of the recently completed audit and he would have RSM come out and formally present the audit.

Trustee Perry asked for a moment of silence for Jill Saraceno Franklin.

Cathy Kuratko wished to thank Acting Manager Greg Hribal for all his work. And advised that Melissa Headley has updated the properties.

11) President’s Report

President Gattuso praised public works for their hard work during the recent storms and cleaning up the flooding on the roads.
