The data shows that all of the released offenders in Bellwood were men. The median age of the parolees was 34. The youngest parolee is a 25-year-old man sentenced for property crimes in 2018, and the oldest is a 60-year-old man sentenced for crimes involving alcohol in 2017.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest is Brandon T. Jones. He was convicted of crimes involving one or more weapons in 2013 when he was 21 years old. He is now 27.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
