Illinois General Assembly: HB2937 actions on May 21

The following actions were taken on May 21 in the House on House bill HB2937 ("government-fund cleanup"): "Passed Both Houses" and "Third Reading - Passed".

The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. William Davis (D-30) on Feb. 14, "amends the Department of Central Management Services Law in a section concerning business processing reengineering and efficient government planning to provide that specified cost savings may (rather than shall) be paid into the General Revenue Fund (rather than the Efficiency Initiative Revolving Fund)," according to the General Assembly website.

The following senator co-sponsored the bill: Heather A. Steans (D-7).

The following house representatives also co-sponsored the bill: Kambium Buckner (D-26), Camille Y. Lilly (D-78) and Curtis J. Tarver, II (D-25).
