Hillside home prices rise in July 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in Hillside rose by $58,000 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $172,500 - a 50.7% increase over the $114,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Hillside in July 2016.

The median sales tax in Hillside for 2017 was $4,251. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,728. This marks an increase of 14%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.5%.
