Western Springs home prices rise in July 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in Western Springs rose by $177,500 while total sales decreased by 10%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were 27 homes sold, with a median sale price of $670,000 - a 36% increase over the $492,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 30 homes sold in Western Springs in July 2016.

The median sales tax in Western Springs for 2017 was $10,034. In 2016, the median sales tax was $9,089. This marks an increase of 10.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.5%.
