Broadview home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Broadview rose by $24,250 while total sales increased by 13.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 138 homes sold, with a median sale price of $160,500 - a 17.8% increase over the $136,250 median sale price for the previous year. There were 122 homes sold in Broadview in 2016.

The median sales tax in Broadview for 2017 was $3,807. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,411. This marks an increase of 11.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
