Burr Ridge (Cook County) home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Burr Ridge in Cook County rose by $41,000 while total sales decreased by 15.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 90 homes sold, with a median sale price of $516,000 - a 8.6% increase over the $475,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 106 homes sold in Burr Ridge in 2016.

The median sales tax in Burr Ridge for 2017 was $9,445. In 2016, the median sales tax was $8,371. This marks an increase of 12.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
