Burr Ridge (Cook County) home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Burr Ridge in Cook County rose by $110,000 while total sales decreased by 26.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $517,000 - a 27% increase over the $407,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 23 homes sold in Burr Ridge in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Burr Ridge for 2017 was $9,444.55. In 2016, the median sales tax was $8,371. This marks an increase of 12.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
