Elmwood Park village president candidate Angelo "Skip" Saviano returns $1,700 contribution from Christopher B Burke Engineering Ltd

The campaign committee of Elmwood Park village president candidate Angelo "Skip" Saviano, Citizens for Saviano, returned a $1,700 contribution from Christopher B Burke Engineering Ltd on July 14, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Christopher B Burke Engineering Ltd has not made any other contributions to Angelo "Skip" Saviano in the past 12 months.
