Unpaid fines for River Forest-based campaign committee totaled $675 in August 2018

One campaign committee in River Forest has overdue fines amounting to a total of $675, records obtained by the West Cook News show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that Friends of Anita Alvarez was the only campaign committee in River Forest that was delinquent in payment for August 2018, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The largest fine that Friends of Anita Alvarez has yet to pay was imposed on Dec. 22, 2017, for a late quarterly report. The amount of this fine alone is $425.
