“The St. Luke Speech Team dominated today at the West 40 speech competition,” school officials posted on Facebook. “Not only did the team take first place overall, but each individual performer and group performance took first place in their categories. This was no easy win for these fifth through eighth graders, as they competed against five incredibly talented teams from the Oak Park and River Forest area. Congratulations, Bearcats! Your hard work paid off.”
The competition was held at Elmwood Park High School in Elmwood Park.
