CITY OF NORTHLAKE: Public Works Department Gets New Equipment

City of Northlake issued the following announcement on Feb. 11.

The Public Works Department took delivery of a Caterpiller Mode 930M end loader at the end of December with payment due in January, 2019. It replaces a Caterpillar A28G end loader. The City received $39,670.62 from the sale of the old end loader. The $169,990.00 purchase was part of the planned 2019 equipment budget for the Public Works Department. The new machine should serve the Public Works Department well past 2039. The machine is used in various capacities such as loading salt and moving various materials.
