Q4 real estate sales report: North Riverside

Median prices declined in North Riverside over last year, and are down 4 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to fourth quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From October to December, 16 homes sold in North Riverside for a median price of $227,500. That's 9.3 percent lower than median home sale prices for the fourth quarter of 2017.

In the fourth quarter, 1 home in North Riverside was in foreclosure.

Median property tax for homeowners in North Riverside was $4,733.19 in 2017 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 1.9 percent of their home's value in taxes.
