OAK PARK-RIVER FOREST CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: What’s Blooming on Harrison

Event

Oak Park-River Forest Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Jan. 9.

Since 1999, What’s Blooming on Harrison has been the Oak Park Arts District’s signature spring event. Over the years, the event has grown vastly in size and attendance as we’ve expanded the street closures and introduced a beer garden and food trucks. This year’s street festival will host an art fair with 100 booths, multiple music stages, the beer garden, makers workshops, a children’s carnival and more. The event will be held on Saturday, May 18th from 11 am - 7 pm with an after party at the main stage and beer garden to follow. The What’s Blooming on Harrison committee is currently seeking artists, musicians and a variety of vendors including food, Not for Profit, and For Profit. Having a booth at the festival is a great way to publicize your business in a face to face manner for a very affordable rate. More information and applications can be found at http://oakparkartsdistrict.com/event-directory-2/whats-blooming-on-harrison-street/.

We are also seeking sponsors for the event. The $1000 Event Sponsorship includes a booth at What’s Blooming and print and online publicity for the event. The $500 Publicity Sponsorship includes print and online publicity during What’s Blooming. The $300 Performance Sponsorship provides stage support for a musician. A Sponsor form can be found on the What’s Blooming webpage.

Questions about participation and sponsorship should be sent to Laurel Wolff at whatsblooming@oakparkartsdistrict.com. The deadline for applying is March 4, 2019.
